About Polity & Society

Polity & Society is a knowledge and ideas-sharing platform that exists to make serious ideas about politics and society accessible without making them shallow. It is organized around five enduring themes of human social life: Humans, Society, Politics, Economy, and World.

Each section brings together a curated selection of some of the best writing on the subject, a mix of classics and contemporary essays worth reading and worth sharing. The aim throughout is the same: theory that stays rigorous, and writing that stays readable.
